Kaeso 0.5.4 fixes Claude Code requests to models whose output limit is below 32,000 tokens, which were refused before. Fresh installs start with KPMR model data as of 2 November 2026 and current prices for two OpenRouter models. Running installs get the same data from KPMR on their own. There are no breaking changes in this release.

Changed
Gateway
- A fresh install starts with KPMR's model data as of 2 November 2026, 12:30 UTC, with OpenRouter's current prices for DeepSeek V4.1 Flash 1017 and Gemma 4 26B A4B. Running installs get the same data from KPMR on their own. (#591 (opens in a new tab))
Fixed
- Claude Code reaches models whose output limit is below 32,000 tokens, such as Command A. A request from another format that asks for more output than the model's maximum now gets that maximum, and
kaeso-adaptednames the app's field, such asmax_tokens. Requests in the provider's own format are unchanged. (#590 (opens in a new tab))
